Township of Domagnano







The territory of the Township of Domagnano covers an area of 6.62 square kilometers. As of 30 June 2014, the resident population amounted to 3,355 persons, of whom 1,631 were males and 1,724 were females.
The Township Council consists of the Head and 9 Members.
In the past, the economy of this township was mainly based on agriculture; today, it is relies on trade-related activities with 110 businesses, and on the tertiary sector with 174 businesses, for a total of 460 businesses.
Major public buildings present in the Township include: an elementary school, a kindergarten and a modern Township Hall with a large conference room which, upon booking, can be used by public and private entities.
The Township also includes a sports centre and an aviation surface for helicopters and light aircraft located in La Torraccia.
